'The Funtastic' Orange Muffin
(topped w/ Vanilla Cream, Orange Cream & Fresh Orange)

Hi,

Welcome to my Muffin Heaven! I’m so glad that my Muffins can finally go on-line. Here, you’ll meet my Homemade Muffins and discover how I passion them. (Who knows you’ll be passionate about them, too!) You can have them as Take-Away/Gifts for any Special Occasion (e.g. Valentine, Christmas, etc.)/Engagement/Baby Shower/Baby Birth Celebration (Man Ye’)/B’day & Wedding Souvenirs, simply by dropping me an e-mail or directly placing order at:
muffin.heaven@yahoo.co.id.

As far as I recall, my first time with Muffin was more than 7 years ago. I don’t remember exactly when and where, but there was a time when I could have Muffins made by a local five-starred hotel’s pastry almost everyday. I fancied the taste and texture, and that’s it. I never dare to know more about it as I thought Muffin was a kind of cake that have a complex ‘make and bake’ process. (I was wrong!) I would say that my friendship with Muffin was like an 'on' and 'off' button ever since. I met many other cakes along the way, and only with a very few of them that I really had fun. It’s never been the same feeling like I had with Muffin; until one day I found myself an ‘easy do’ recipe on Muffin. I thought, “I should have known earlier. I have to give it a try.” My first Homemade Muffin was Banana Muffin. The result was still far from perfection; but I got all excited up to toe. With a bigger curiosity, I tried to find out more about Muffin. I believe, ‘Reading and Practising bring Wisdom’.

Making friends with Muffin is Fun. Yet, it is easy to make and bake once you trust it by heart. In my opinion, Muffin has its own basic characters; friendly, sensitive, simple, universal and unique. Friendly, as Muffin can be your friend anytime you want it beside you; during breakfast, a fifteen-minute break, an afternoon tea and even for special occasions. Sensitive, as Muffin can cheer you up whenever you’re sad or it can simply double your happiness. ;-) Simple, as to get the best result, Muffin has simple rules to follow. Or else, the Muffin gets sad. Universal, as Muffin is culturally and geographically enjoyable. Unique, in term of its shape and texture, as it can’t be too smooth or even too hard. It’s got to be just right; and as a matter of fact, I like my Muffin a bit crusty on the outside. Most importantly, Muffin is never done without its ‘proudly presented Dome' (really doesn’t matter if it’s lower or higher than you expect); and, it’s served best when it’s warm. Hmmm, yummy!
